Itinerary

Day 1 - Saturday, June 6

Depart the U.S. and begin your pilgrimage journey
Day 2 - Sunday, June 7 – Nazareth

Arrive in Tel Aviv and travel to Nazareth

Opening Mass at the Basilica of the Annunciation

Day 3 - Monday, June 8 – Galilee
-
Morning boat ride with Mass on the Sea of Galilee
-
Continue to the Sea of Galilee Churches, including Capernaum, Peter’s Primacy, Church of the Multiplication, Mount of Beatitudes, and Magdala
Day 4 - Tuesday, June 9 – Mt. Tabor & Jordan River

Ascend Mount Tabor

Mass in the Basilica of the Transfiguration

Drive through the Jordan River Valley

Visit the baptismal site of Jesus on the Jordan River and renew your baptismal promises

Float in the Dead Sea

Day 5 - Wednesday, June 10 – Bethlehem

Day in Bethlehem including Mass at the Church of the Nativity

Visit Shepherds’ Field

Participate in two local experiences - an olive wood carving workshop and a Palestinian cuisine cooking class

Day 6 - Thursday, June 11 – Jerusalem

Visit the Church of St. John the Baptist and the Church of the Visitation

Walk in Jesus' footsteps by starting on the top of the Mount of Olives and walking down to the various pilgrimage sites, including Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit, and the Garden of Gethsemane

Mass in the Church of All Nations

Walk across the Kidron Valley, through the Lions Gate, and into the Old City

Free time to explore the Old City on your own
Day 7 - Friday, June 12 – Jerusalem

Tour of the Old City of Jerusalem

Mass at St. Anne’s Church

Visit the Pools of Bethesda
See Mount Zion, the home of St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Cenacle, and Dormition Abbey -
Pray the iconic Western Wall and learn of its significance

Free time to explore the Old City on your own
Day 8 - Saturday, June 13 – Jerusalem

Early-morning Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa

Mass at the tomb of Christ in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre and prayer in the empty tomb

Free time to explore the Old City on your own

Closing pilgrimage reflections and Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant
Day 9 - Sunday, June 14

Travel to Tel Aviv and depart for the U.S.
Lodging
We have arranged simple yet exciting lodging in guest houses that are right near the holy sites, rather than staying in nicer hotels that are a bus-ride away. This maximizes our time at these sites and allows you to walk to them in your free time.
