Nohemi Toledo’s plan to serve in church ministry was thrown off track by the pandemic. Instead, she recounts, “I was isolating myself and the friends that I did have weren’t leading me closer to Christ. My fire for God was growing dim and I knew that I needed good Christian community to change that.”
That’s when she learned about Ablaze Mission and signed up for our Alive Series. Through the Christian community she found there, Nohemi discovered “my relationship with [God] became more personal and deeper… I could feel my heart becoming on fire for God again.”
Now, Nohemi is back on track. She is currently applying to the Master of Divinity program at the University of Notre Dame to prepare for church ministry. She happily tells people, “I am excited to pursue my dream of creating spaces for others to encounter Jesus and for their hearts to be on fire for Him.”
