About
Work/Career:
After studying Computer Science in college, my latest jobs have included serving elderly nuns with dementia at the Sisters of the Holy Cross, working with 3-and 4-year-olds at St. Joseph Preschool, and doing freelance writing/interviewing for Catholic Stewardship Consultants and WorkLight (Christians in Commerce). The Holy Spirit led me to each of my jobs, and I’ve experienced the Lord in all of them. I’m grateful for the relationships and communities I’ve found through them, and for the honor of getting to hear people’s stories about the Lord as an interviewer.
Favorite thing about South Bend:
My friends, and the memories we have together here. I'm also grateful for the heritage and ongoing work of the people in this town who are dedicated to a life of love and service to the Lord, including the Congregation of Holy Cross. There are pockets of town that are very rich with the Holy Spirit, because of how many people have served, praised, or just spent time with the Lord there.
Favorite Way to Pray:
I love to communicate with the Lord throughout my day, sharing what’s on my mind and asking Him what’s on His. I also take time to read Scripture daily, and have enjoyed doing the Lectio Divina through the “Pray as you go” app.
Favorite Podcast:
I love classic literature, seminar discussions, and philosophy, so I’m a fan of "Classical Stuff You Should Know.” The podcast features delightful and clever conversation by three Christian teachers from a classical school in Austin, Texas, who discuss Plato, Rousseau, C.S. Lewis and more.
