Assistant Mission Director
Are you passionate about evangelizing young adults (age 18-30s) and forming them into missionary disciples in order to build up the Church and transform the world?

The Assistant Mission Director works with the Mission Director to form a community of young adults in the South Bend area. Together, you spearhead our efforts as full-time missionaries to local young men and women. You witness and proclaim the Good News to young adults in order to set their hearts ablaze, guide and journey with them as disciples, and equip them to become missionaries to their peers. All programs are accomplished through developing leaders from within the community.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (shared with Mission Director)

-
Evangelization: lead activities that explicitly proclaim the Gospel.
-
Discipleship: lead activities that provide spiritual, intellectual, and human formation for disciples, such as small-group bible studies and large-group talks, pilgrimages, and retreats.
-
Apostleship: lead activities that provide apostolic formation to turn disciples outward to become missionary.
-
Community: spend time building close relationships with local young adults, both individually and in group settings, in order to apprentice them in the faith and provide pastoral care as situations arise.
-
Partnerships: collaborate with the diocese, parishes, and/or other organizations for specific activities, such as speaking engagements and joint events.
